In 2017, over half the population in Sub-Saharan Africa had no bank account. That's for good reason—the fees are too high, the closest branch can be miles away, and nobody takes cards. Without access to financial institutions, people are forced to keep their savings under the mattress. Small business owners rely on lenders who charge extortionate rates. Parents spend hours waiting in line to pay school fees in cash.
We're solving this by building financial services that just work: no account fees, instantly available, and accepted everywhere. In places where electricity, water and roads don't always work, you can still send money with Wave. In 2017, we launched a mobile app in Senegal for cash deposit, withdrawal, and peer-to-peer and business payments. Now, we have millions of users across six countries and are growing fast.

How you'll help us achieve it
Wave is now the largest financial institution in Senegal, with over 7 million users. And we're still in the early days of our product roadmap and potential impact on people's everyday lives.
We are looking for a Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the movement of goods in and out of the warehouse and ensuring that we have comprehensive tracking at all times as part of the rapid expansion of our business.
In this role, you'll:
- Supervise and participate in the unloading of deliveries.
- Check delivery notes and verify the conformity of products received.
- Report any anomalies or non-conformities.
- Putting products away in the right places according to storage instructions.
- Optimise warehouse space.
- Taking part in regular and annual inventories.
- Use IT tools (Work - Excel - Slack).
- Preparing requests for supplies as required (picking).
- Pack and label products according to established standards.
- Check requests for accuracy before dispatch.
- Keep the warehouse tidy and clean.
- Comply with safety instructions and internal procedures.
Key details
- This is a permanent position.
- Location: You'll work from our office in Abidjan.
- You must have work authorization in Côte d'Ivoire.

Requirements
- Degree in Logistics & Accounting or equivalent diploma.
- Significant experience in a similar position is a key requirement.
- Ability to use IT tools (Work - Excel - Slack).
- Ability to perform physical tasks (carrying heavy loads, prolonged standing work).
- Strong proficiency in French. English can be an added advantage.
