In 2017, over half the population in Sub-Saharan Africa had no bank account. That's for good reason—the fees are too high, the closest branch can be miles away, and nobody takes cards. Without access to financial institutions, people are forced to keep their savings under the mattress. Small business owners rely on lenders who charge extortionate rates. Parents spend hours waiting in line to pay school fees in cash.
We're solving this by building financial services that just work: no account fees, instantly available, and accepted everywhere. In places where electricity, water and roads don't always work, you can still send money with Wave. In 2017, we launched a mobile app in Senegal for cash deposit, withdrawal, and peer-to-peer and business payments. Now, we have millions of users across six countries and are growing fast.

We are looking for a Deployment Officer with exceptional client relationship management skills to join our dynamic payment team in The Gambia.
You will be responsible for deploying and facilitating merchants' onboarding, ensuring seamless system integration, and providing technical support to optimize their experience on our platform.
In this role, you'll;
- Contribute to the growth of our operational activities.
- Support the training and deployment of our solutions to corporate partners.
- Help to maintain high service quality for our corporate partners.
- Handling technical requests from corporate partners.
- Conducting field visits for deployment requirements.
- Providing internal and partner feedback during deployments.
- Facilitating the onboarding process for new corporate partners.
- Prepare and configure QR codes and devices required for deployments.

- Location: You'll work from our office in the Gambia.
- Work authorization in the Gambia. is required.
- This is a permanent position.

Requirements
- University degree or equivalent in Sales, marketing or similar field.
- 2+ years of experience in a client-facing or corporate sales role.
- Fluent in English and local languages.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Keen interest in merchant payments.
- Proficient in using computers and Android devices.
- Skilled in using Google tools (Google Docs, Sheets, etc.).
- Prior experience in inventory management.
