In 2017, over half the population in Sub-Saharan Africa had no bank account. That's for good reason—the fees are too high, the closest branch can be miles away, and nobody takes cards. Without access to financial institutions, people are forced to keep their savings under the mattress. Small business owners rely on lenders who charge extortionate rates. Parents spend hours waiting in line to pay school fees in cash.
We're solving this by building financial services that just work: no account fees, instantly available, and accepted everywhere. In places where electricity, water and roads don't always work, you can still send money with Wave. In 2017, we launched a mobile app in Senegal for cash deposit, withdrawal, and peer-to-peer and business payments. Now, we have millions of users across six countries and are growing fast.

How you'll help us achieve it
We’re looking for an organized and customer-focused Merchant Corporate Success Officer to join our Payments team.
You will be responsible for handling corporate customers' requests in record time, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction, and providing dedicated support to optimize user experience.
In this role, you'll;
- Treat and follow our corporate clients' requests.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with our partners.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with our corporate partners
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless client experience.
- Create and manage documents efficiently (google Sheets, doc, etc) to track requests.
- Manage flow and backlog of Monday.com corporate requests.
- Execute other daily tasks.
Key details
- 6-month fixed-term contract.
- Location: You'll work from our office in Abidjan.
- You must have work authorization in Côte d’Ivoire.

Requirements
- Fluency in French and English.
- At least 2 years experience in customer services-related roles.
- University degree or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good spoken and written communication.
- Well-organized and flexible.
- Ability to conduct duties discreetly and impartially.
- Experience in operations, sales, or support.
